If this is pertaining to an animal emergency outside of Long Island, or you cannot reach LION for any reason, please contact your local law enforcement. If the police are unresponsive, please contact PETA (www.peta.org).
Please direct all non-emergency queries to John@humanelongisland.org or fill out the contact form below. As we are all volunteers and are constantly prioritizing due to the high volume of inquiries we get, we kindly ask for your patience with non-emergency matters, but please know that if you feel the need to follow up after a few days, we will appreciate it rather than be bothered by it.
Thank you for your compassion and dedication to animals.
