Dozens of domestic ducks to be rescued, not killed, in East Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania

After Save the Geese Bloomsburg and In Defense of Animals sounded the alarm that the USDA would be removing up to 70 domestic ducks from Fairground Road Park in East Buffalo Township, Duck Defenders offered a solution beneficial for both the ducks and the community, securing an agreement to humanely relocate the domestic ducks to reputable homes and sanctuaries. This burgeoning relationship opens the door for further duck rescues throughout Pennsylvania.
