North Sachem High School PTSA drops Sloth Encounters sponsorship

After hearing how Sloth Encounters' owner Larry Wallach has been cited for more than 50 federal violations of the Animal Welfare Act, including for lying to USDA inspectors about an incident involving the bite of a child at his illegal Hauppauge facility, the North Sachem High School PTSA deleted its advertisement for Sloth Encounters and opted not to raffle off a basket to the illegal business at its fundraiser. Humane Long Island and our friends at Cindysnacks replaced this basket with one of our own!
